Borax Crystals

 3 cups of boiling water per mason jar

 1/4 cup of Borax for each jar 

 Stir until all the borax is dissolved and the solution is clear

 add food coloring if you desire

 Tie a string around the shape and tie the other end to a pencil.

   Gently lower the shape into the solution making sure that it is not touching the jar 

 Set the jar in a safe spot that will not be disturbed.

Let it sit overnight and get ready to be amazed at the crystal decoration

.  Gently cut off the string and display in your window.

I think with pipe cleaners you can shape the possibilities are endless.

With Easter around the corner maybe a cross, Stars for the Fourth, and Christmas,.
